Braided Box

The Braided Box works the same way as the Decorated Box. A subtle movement is required to unlock the lid. The braid pattern is one of my trade secrets. Each wenge lattice is mitered on every corner and offset by tiny strips of maple. The Walnut Box has mitered corners with hidden spline joinery.

I made an edition of 35 of these in July 2004.
